about mei

Mei-yann is a practitioner of Intentional Breathwork, a potent energy work system that provides healing within a deep medatative state.  She is also a Licensed Access Consciousness Bars Facilitator, certifying Bars practitioners in another modality that “Empowers People to Know that They Know.”  Though Mei-yann has broadened her healing craft through personal and professional excursions across the world, her foundation rests on influence from the kung fu “martial intelligence” of Moy Yat Ving Tsun. To enhance the soul-mind-body alignment concept, Mei-yann incorporates shamanism, yogic wisdom, and Thai-style massage therapy.  Mei-yann currently resides in New York City and

travels frequently to facilitate her style of multi-dimensional healing.

Mei’s own words….

I love holding the space for one to experience what such words as “being centered and grounded”, and what “quieting the mind” or “opening the heart” is about. I enjoy the spectrum of the personal journey — thus my style as a healer is very playful and nurturing, or at times can be

quite direct and intense. Many of us have come across numerous teachers, modalities, and even books to overload us with information … I am grateful for all that I have learned, but do not see it as an final answer or a single way to do things.  Instead, I’ve opted for a full flavor life experience while on my road to mastery and continue to be in the question rather than seek an outcome (it’s simply been more delicious that way).  To quote a great inspiration and fellow Ving Tsun Kung Fu expert:

Absorb what is useful, Reject what is useless, and add what is truly your own.” — Bruce Lee

Quotes

“The moment you unblock, you feel it...The fear you’ve had trapped inside releases. Emotions unravel. You’re brought into the present moment,
and can finally stop living in the time you originally experienced your fears...It is the beginning of your empowerment."
