Intentional Breathwork with Mei-yann offers active breathwork meditation for effective emotional, physical, and mental well-being. Breathwork may access a profoundly healing and spiritually insightful experience.  Mei-yann facilitates private sessions and workshops in her home base of New York City, with frequent travel to Philadelphia and around the world.

Breathing the Centerline of Consciousness

Mei-Yann blends three methods for accessing the ability to stay centered while exploring your own path of free, limitless self-expression. Using connected breath as a staple ”power tool”, Mei-Yann has enhanced the process of becoming centered in your consciousness by uniting the principles of Access Consciousness with the centerline theory from Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu.
Her main pillars:
  • Shamanic Breathwork
  • Access Consciousness
  • ‘Moy Yat Ving Tsun’ Kung Fu

Based in the ancient Pranayama tradition, the Intentional Breathwork method uses rhythmic breathing to quiet the mind and move an incredible amount of energy in a short amount of time. Strong influences from indigenous cultures create the sacred space for these soul-level journeys.

As a Certified Access Consciousness Bars Facilitator, Mei-Yann has practical techniques that will help you to find your path and to travel it. Thirty-two bars of energy run through and around your head. These bars influence how you move through the world, how you make decisions, how you think and feel…. They can limit your ability to open yourself to new experiences. Mei-Yann is trained to help open these bars so that you can experience your life with ease.

From her study of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence, Mei-Yann brings the concept of Sum Fot, or “Heart Method”, which takes as its premise that our understanding ourselves comes from the heart—both literally and metaphorically. Ving Tsun is not a style of kung fu or someone’s interpretation, it is a system wherein you learn your own kung fu.  We are always searching for what is simple, direct, and efficient.

Quotes

“The moment you unblock, you feel it...The fear you’ve had trapped inside releases. Emotions unravel. You’re brought into the present moment,
and can finally stop living in the time you originally experienced your fears...It is the beginning of your empowerment."
